Davies Arnold Cooper LLP has announced a new senior lateral hire to its Real Estate team. Oliver Emanuel becomes a partner in the firm's London office, joining from Eversheds, where he was a partner.

Oliver has extensive experience in commercial, residential, office and mixed-use developments, including town centre regeneration projects and large scale retail developments. Oliver advises private sector developers, development agencies and local authorities on all aspects of these complex deals, including development funding and infrastructure agreements, as well as land-assembly issues andcompulsory purchase agreements.

Andrew Workman has also joined the firm as Senior Solicitor in the Employment group. Andrew is an employment law specialist with over 8 years experience in the field. He joins from Hewitsons LLP where the main focus of his work has been to provide support to HR managers, typically in relation to disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies, and the transfer of businesses. He has advised a broad range of clients in the private sector, from national chains to SMEs, as well as publically funded and charitable organisations.
