Davies Arnold Cooper advises Dragons' Den star

Davies Arnold Cooper has advised Dragons' Den star James Caan on his latest investment. His leading UK staffing and real estate private equity firm, Hamilton Bradshaw (HB) has agreed to acquire a significant stake in the highly respected medical recruitment agency specialists DRC Group (DRC Locums and Locumlinx). The transaction includes HB combining with the ongoing DRC management team led by CEO Imraan Ladak. The deal was initiated and led by Tristan Ramus of HB.
Corporate Partner Steven Raize led the team from Davies Arnold Cooper, assisted by Simon Price, Anthony Lee and Louise Francis (Corporate), Wendy Trehy and Justin Roberts (Employment) and Andrew Romaner (Real Estate).
Steven Raize, a private equity specialist, joined Davies Arnold Cooper from Halliwells, along with Ian Brent and Clive Garston, in September 2009. Steven has previously advised HB on the acquisition of Eden Brown.

KPMG also advised Hamilton Bradshaw on the acquisition providing financial and commercial due diligence. DRC Group were advised by Woodfines and MacIntrye Hudson. Venture Structured Finance provided the funding package.
