ODA ANNOUNCES DELIVERY PARTNER SHORTLIST

The Olympic Delivery Authority has announced its shortlist of contenders for the crucial Olympic delivery partner role:
. Bechtel
. GLM (CH2M Hill International, Laing O'Rourke, Mace)
. G3 (AMEC, Balfour Beatty and Jacobs, Gleeds)
. Legacy (Bovis Lend Lease, Capita Symonds and Kellogg Brown & Root, Franklin
+ Andrews)

The final appointment will be made this summer.

NEWS UPDATE

·Terminal 5 and the new Emirates Stadium were both hailed as the best of British by Jack Lemley, Chair of the ODA, speaking at the International Construction Superconference 2006 sponsored by Davies Arnold Cooper.

·A compulsory purchase order (CPO) needed to consolidate the 2012 Olympic site in east London has been put forward to public inquiry. Further information.

·Olympic minister Tessa Jowell is ready to listen to industry to improve the procurement process for the Games.
