OLYMPIC STADIUM TENDER OPPORTUNITY

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has started a competitive process to procure an Integrated Design and Construct team for the Olympic stadium.

The team will be selected through a two-stage competitive process run according to European Union directives (please see our previous Olympic update for further information on OJEU directives).

Parties wishing to express their interest in participating in this competitive process should obtain Contract Notice ref.149240-2006 in Journal no.137 from the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). The deadline for response to the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is 4th September.

 
   
The ODA has published its draft Procurement Policy for public consultation.

The policy is open to public consultation until 2 October 2006, after which it will be revised and re-issued. View the Olympic Delivery Authority Procurement Policy.

Howard Shiplee has been announced as the Director of Construction at the ODA. He will manage all aspects of construction for the venues and facilities at the London 2012 Games.

This follows the appointment of Lawrence Waterman as Head of Health and Safety. View ODA Health and Safety Standard.
