William is a partner in the firm's Insurance and Reinsurance Group. He specialises in contentious and non-contentious insurance and reinsurance issues, both domestic and international, including general liability, run-off and commutation, D&O, financial institutions and professional indemnity.

William has been involved in a number of arbitration disputes and high profile Commercial Court cases including the Lloyd’s litigation, Film Finance litigation and the Dunlop Haywards/Erinaceous dispute. Recent experience includes dealing with claims related to engineering, infrastructure, public utilities and financial institutions in the UK, Latin America, Africa and the US.

William writes and lectures regularly on insurance and reinsurance issues. He is recommended in Legal 500.

William is a director of the firm’s Mexico office and plays a key role in its management. William is also a key contact point for the firm’s Madrid office.
