Chris is an employment law specialist and the head of our employment law team.

As well as being an experienced tribunal advocate, Chris is a regular speaker at legal training events. He advises a broad range of employers on all employment matters including the restructuring, transfer or takeover of businesses, contracts of employment and employment policies, restrictive covenants, employee representation, dismissals, and discrimination. He has particular expertise assisting organisations to manage high profile terminations.

Increasingly his work involves an international dynamic. In addition to managing or co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional projects within our Harmonie network of law firms, Chris is one of the CBI’s UK Employer Representatives at the International Labour Organisation (ILO), which is part of the United Nations. His role involves the examination and development of international labour standards., which includes representing international employer organisations when new ILO instruments are drafted..
Chris is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the CIPD and CityHR.

Chris is regularly called upon by the media to comment on employment law developments, including BBC Radio, BBC News24 and Sky News.
