Construction
Our construction team provides a full range of services from our offices in London, Manchester, Madrid and Mexico City. We also have close associations with law firms in North and South America and the Middle-East.
We work with clients on the transactional and procurement aspects of construction projects. Our construction solicitors draft sensible and commercial contracts that achieve our clients' aims.
We are experts in all forms of dispute resolution: litigation, adjudication, mediation and domestic and cross-border arbitration. We resolve disputes as economically and expeditiously as possible.
We represent clients in the full range of disputes in the UK Technology and Construction Court and appellate courts. Typical disputes we have been involved in include claims for delay and disruption, extensions of time, loss and expense and the cost of remedying defects. We also deal with disputes arising out of claims in relation to performance bonds, collateral warranties and design and build obligations.
We also advise our clients on all elements of international and domestic regulatory compliance in related areas, such as Health & Safety.
We act for major national and international contractors, developers, employers, funders, consultants, governments, multinational agencies and insurers.
