Arson and fraud

We specialise in advising insurers on claims where arson or fraud is suspected. We have ‘hands-on’ experience of running arson investigations, attending fire scenes and have attended many major incidents with fire fighters.

We develop strong working relationships with emergency services to ensure an arson investigations is treated as a priority in the initial stages of an incident. Experience shows early support from fire and police authorities is critical to a successful result.

We also advise insurers on policy coverage and where false or exaggerated claims are suspected. We are well-versed in how best to accumulate evidence and spot the indicators of fraud. During the course of an investigation we will indicate as early as possible if we think that the correct decision is to pay. We can also assist in setting up fraud management procedures to ensure that the insurer runs the claim, not the claimant.
