Our experience of product liability is unparalleled. We were involved in the first claim in the UK, Relph Vs Yamaha, to make reference to the Consumer Protection Act 1987, and we continue to be instructed as the defence team in the leading product liability cases. We defended the National Blood Authority in the Hepatitis C litigation, the first substantive review in Europe of the scope and meaning of the Product Liability Directive. We also defended GlaxoSmithKline in the MMR Vaccine litigation.
