Michael specialises in defending group actions, product liability and commercial claims and complex personal injury cases.  He has worked on several high-profile group actions and was a key member of Simon Pearl's team acting for one of the manufacturers in the MMR vaccine litigation.

He works closely with clients in seeking to resolve individual claims, often without recourse to litigation.  Michael advises across a wide range of liability-related issues, including product safety, risk assessment and prevention and preparation for coroners' inquests. He has also acted for healthcare professionals in disciplinary tribunal matters.

Michael represents the interests of major companies and their insurers across numerous industry sectors, including the pharmaceutical, food, retail and motor industries. 

Michael's expertise in the field of defendant product liability work has been recognised by Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession where he is listed as an 'Associate to watch'.
