Paulino heads the firm's Insurance Group.  He is a Spanish lawyer (ICAM) and a solicitor before the High Court of England and Wales.  Law Degree (Granada 1989). Doctoral programme in Philosophy of Law, Politics and Morals (1993). Further Law studies at London School of Economics (1985) and Political Science in Pais Vasco University (1993). He has been a partner at Davies Arnold Cooper since 1998, becoming managing partner of Davies Arnold Cooper Abogados in 2006.

His professional experience has been focused on dispute resolution, mainly in the area of insurance law and civil liability where he acts as an arbitration and counsel to arbitration.

He has successfully lead the defence in complex civil, criminal and administrative matters in the areas of professional liability, environmental liability, banking and computer fraud, political risks, energy, construction and reinsurance. 

Paulino is the author of various books and legal publications and is a well-known speaker in the areas in which he specialises. He is a regular lecturer in universities and business schools in insurance law, civil liability, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution methods. 

He is a member of the committees of arbitration and mediation of the International Bar Association (IBA), of the International Association of Insurance Law (SEAIDA), the Spanish Association of Risk Managers (AGERS) and London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA)
