Peter is a Partner in our commercial property team in Manchester. Peter's focus is property investment, development and portfolio management. Peter acts on specialist commercial and residential development site acquisitions for investors in joint venture arrangements with developers. He advises on all aspects of landlord and tenant law, particularly for clients in the retail, office and healthcare sector. He advises investment fund managers (including for overseas based clients and charities) on sales and purchases and all other aspects of asset management. Peter also carries out property finance and corporate support work.  

Notable transactions include sale of a hotel site at Redhouse, Doncaster to a syndicate including the negotiation of the development and overage agreements and a complex investment acquisition and financing led leaseback arrangement of a block of student apartments at Admiralty Quay, Portsmouth. Peter's experience also includes acting for clients in £50m acquisition of a portfolio of industrial estates.  

In the retail arena, Peter has advised on the redevelopment of a shopping centre and upon a management buyout of high street brands from a major retailer as well as for both landlords and tenants on lease renewals.  

Peter has acted on the acquisition of new build head quarter premises and managed the property portfolio of leading construction project managers.
