Penny advises employers and individuals on all aspects of the employment relationship. She has acted for a broad range of employers running tribunal claims and handling complex disciplinary and grievance processes. She has acted for employees of all levels, from senior executives of listed companies to junior employees and contractors and consultants on the full range of rights protecting workers and employees. She undertakes tribunal advocacy and speaks at seminars. Penny has run training events for clients on a diverse range of topics from compromise agreements to strike management.

Penny has particular expertise in collective employment issues such as collective consultation, industrial action and large-scale dismissals. She has also advised clients on strategies for minimising the risks of industrial action and coping with the effects of strikes when they occur.
