Darren is a solicitor in Manchester's insurance department.   

Darren defends mid-to-high-value cases arising from road traffic accidents, employers' liability and public liability accidents. He also has extensive experience in industrial disease matters such as VWF and asbestosis. He works for many of the country's leading insurance companies.  

Darren has a special interest in sports and leisure litigation and has represented many well-known football clubs and listed companies in this area, acting exclusively for a well-known national leisure group as their solicitor for the North. He has also successfully defended high profile names in the world of sport, including a recent Judo matter that received significant media attention.    
 
Darren has also written, developed and co-ordinated Davies Arnold Cooper's in-house training programme on the Money Laundering Regulations 2004 and the impact of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. He continues to present seminars and train staff on this fast changing topic.
