Martin specialises in construction, construction insurance and professional indemnity insurance law, advising employers, contractors, insurers and other professionals in connection with a wide variety of construction project work. 

He has acted also for numerous contractors and insurers nationally and internationally on contract disputes, litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation concerning domestic building contracts and major road, rail and energy projects here and abroad often involving non-standard contracts.   

He has acted for several different types of construction professional including architects, engineers and project managers in professional indemnity cases, as well as covering disputes in insurance, pension administration, financial services and IT.  He also has experience of dealing with various aspects of goods in transit disputes. 

Martin has many years experience of advising on policy coverage issues and drafting policy wordings for both composite and London market insurers and reinsurers including Lloyd's.
