Jonathan specialises in construction litigation. He acts for public utilities, institutions, developers and main contractors in relation to construction, engineering and substantial infrastructure projects. His experience spans litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation and expert determination. Jonathan's reported cases include the series of judgements of The Honourable Mr Justice Jackson and the Court of Appeal concerning the M6 toll road. He is a Solicitor - Advocate and is authorised to exercise rights of audience in all Courts, and often carries out his own advocacy.

Jonathan has presented a number of seminars on construction law issues and regularly contributes articles to various construction journals.  He is a member of the Technology and Construction Solicitors Association, the Adjudication Society and the Solicitors' Association of Higher Court Advocates.

Jonathan has a keen interest in politics and prior to commencing his training contract worked in the House of Commons as a parliamentary research assistant for a Member of Parliament.
