Lucy has broad experience in both commercial property and residential development. Her experience spans the full range of landlord and tenant services and conveyancing for institutional investors and retailers, major City of London developments and property aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals.  

Lucy has specialised in strategic residential development projects for 15 years acting for both major house builders and land owners, dealing with complicated land acquisition agreements with overage provisions, long-term option agreements, and disposals of development sites to other developers. She has also been involved in  drafting  Section 106 Agreements working closely with the planning team. She has worked on projects that involve the acquisition, planning and disposal of developments up to 10,000 dwellings.

Recent instructions include a complex site assembly of land for the development of 600 units in the Thames Gateway region, a development of a well-known racecourse to accommodate 1,500 dwellings, the acquisition of a substantial hospital site for residential development, the purchase of a hospital from English Partnerships, completion of strategic option agreements, instructions for land acquisition for a town expansion scheme and two substantial collaboration agreements between house builders for in excess of 400 units.
