Sonia Bustos has extensive experience in the acquisition and disposal of Spanish residential and commercial property transactions for both corporations and individuals, which encompasses planning consents and agreements, administrative authorisations and the drafting of sale and purchase agreements.

She is a dually qualified lawyer registered as a solicitor with the English Law Society and an Abogado registered with the Roll of Solicitors in Madrid - Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid (ICAM). To her credit she also holds membership to the British Spanish Law Association [BSLA], the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in London and the World Women Lawyers Association [IBA].

Other areas of  her expertise include the establishing of business and corporations within the UK, incorporation of foreign companies in Spain, disputes with Spanish nationals and local authorities, joint ventures agreements for developers and institutional or private investors, resolution of contractual issues, tax planning, Spanish probate and wills.

She is bilingual in both Spanish and English.
