Nicholas specialises in construction and engineering issues both in the UK and on major international projects, specialising in contractual matters.

He has acted for clients all over the world including Australia, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, USA, Israel, Ethiopia, Ghana and Russia.

He regularly advises funders, tenants, developers and contractors on contractual arrangements, procurement, professional appointments, warranties and bonds on a range of residential, commercial and mixed use development schemes, major infrastructure projects, dredging and process engineering.   He also led Davies Arnold Cooper's team acting on the Kent Grouped Schools PFI and Oxford Churchill Hospital PFI and is currently advising contractors on thre BSF programmes.
