Allison is a partner at international law firm Davies Arnold Cooper.  She has been practising as a solicitor since 1991, which has led her to acquire a Masters Degree in the practice of employment law.

Her practice as a solicitor has been exclusively in employment, and her expertise covers all aspects of employment and industrial relations law with the main focus on advising at Board and senior HR management level on how to maintain good employment practice.

She speaks at internal and external conferences, which in the past has included presenting at well known institutions such as the Institute of Directors, and the Institute of Health & Safety.

Allison has produced a variety of articles and contributions to works across a range of employment and health and safety issues, which have included stress in the workplace, discrimination, and the statutory dispute resolution procedures.  A number of these works have included articles and editorials for Croner, the Institute of Directors, and more recently a publication on workplace stress as recommended by the Institute of Risk Management.

Allison is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
