Lyn acts mainly for insurance companies, including defending actions on behalf of insureds and pursuing recovery actions on behalf of insurers.  These claims involve damage to property as a result of impact damage, fire, flood, explosion and theft.  She has also dealt with claims involving subsidence and allegations of professional negligence against architects and surveyors. 

Lyn has been involved in numerous insurance cases relating to issues of non-disclosure and fraudulent claims, including arson, advising insurers on policy liability.  She was involved in advising the Association of British Insurers on an initially covert case involving major fraud perpetrated by a household plc.  Lyn  has also advised several insurers on policy issues following major incidents on the railways.

Lyn has handled numerous large cases in the Jersey courts, and she also has experience of litigation in France, Turkey and Egypt.
