He has particular experience of hotel transactions, including the sale and purchase of hotels and hotel businesses, financing hotel acquisitions and developments, negotiating and financing hotel management contracts, and has acted for major owners, operators and funders in the hotels market. He is named as one of the leading individuals for Real Estate: Hotels and Leisure in Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession.

Within the Real Estate Finance Team Paul has acted for borrowers and for leading banks and financial institutions on property finance transactions. He has considerable experience in property restructuring and insolvency matters and has published a number of articles on these issues. He also deals with both commercial and residential developments, investment portfolios and more general landlord and tenant and real estate issues.
