Caroline  has very extensive experience in property dispute resolution, and in particular all manner of landlord and tenant disputes.  She has dealt with innumerable lease renewals, some opposed some unopposed, and had a recent success following challenging a landlord for unreasonably withholding consent to an assignment of the lease of retail premises. Caroline has been involved in the contentious issues surrounding the purchase, development and subsequent management of  shopping centres for a number of investors.  She also deals with matters incidental to the occupation of property, such as noise nuisance, restrictive covenants, and rights of way.

She has recently settled 2 long running disputes using mediation, both involving complex issues and hostility between the parties (one relating to dilapidations and the other, to the interpretation of the user clause in a lease). 

Caroline is a member of the Property Litigation Association.  The Legal 500 this year commented that she  "… wins particular client praise - she has good communication skills and really knows the industry well".
