Andrew has a focus on commercial property law, specialising in investment portfolios (sale, purchase and management); landlord and tenant matters, acting for both landlords and occupiers;  shopping centre acquisition and management; LTA 1954 lease renewal; property recovery/receivership; corporate support; and the purchase and sale or letting of commercial and residential development sites, including negotiation of options,  sale and development agreements and overage agreements.

Transactions include the purchase of a large regional shopping centre; the purchase and subsequent occupational lettings of a City office development; acting for a consortium of major residential development companies in the purchase of a development site with an estimated development value of over £80m; and the acquisition and subsequent disposal of 33 Grosvenor Place, London for £208m (the acquisition involved £125m of Shari'ah compliant funding).  Andrew is currently dealing with the development of two City sites of 70,000 sq ft and 113,000 sq ft respectively and recently acted on the acquisition of the Bishopsgate Tower, now known as The Pinnacle.  When built the 60 storey, 945,000 sq ft tower will be the tallest in London.

Andrew has written several articles on property issues for New Law Journal.  He has also been published in Estates Gazette and is a contributor to the  Law Society's Conveyancing Handbook 2003.
