Simon is one of the UK's leading product liability lawyers. He has 28 years experience in litigation in a wide range of fields.  Simon acts for defendants in group actions in the product liability and healthcare fields, both in England and abroad.  He led the defending team in the whooping cough vaccine test case and acted for the NHS in the HIV haemophilia litigation. He currently acts for the NHS in the hepatitis C litigation and for one of the major manufacturers in the MMR vaccine litigation. Simon also has substantial experience in advising reinsurers insurers, captive insurers and insureds on product liability and wider policy issues.     

Simon has written numerous articles and speaks frequently at product liability conferences. He is the author of the chapter on product liability insurance in the leading text book on the subject, published by Lloyd's of London Press. He is a member of the Law Society Multiparty Action Reference Group and DRI, Medico-Legal Society IBA and ABA. He sits as a part-time Chair of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal.
