Iain specialises in issues relating to the energy, construction and engineering industries.

Iain is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales; a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of Australian Capital Territory and the Australian Federal Courts.

He has drafted a full range of contracts for major projects in the United Kingdom and the Far East on behalf of employers, major contractors and international consultants.  He has been involved in litigation, arbitration and mediations in many countries including the UK, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia.

Iain has represented various professional bodies including the Civil Engineering Committee of the Hong Kong Construction Association in policy discussions with the Hong Kong Government.
